Tote Bag Supply List

Essential Tools and Materials

General Supplies

• Fabric –Outside Print ¾ yard

  Lining ¾ yard

  Handles ¼ yard (or 60” Webbing)

  Contrast Pockets and Bottom ½ yard

• 18” X 36” Foam (or Fusible Fleece)
• 1 Zipper – 16” or longer
• SF 101 – 1 ½ yards – 20” Wide
• 24” Zipper (Optional – if planning to add a zipper closing at the top of the tote)

 

Basic Sewing Tools

• Fabric scissors
• Rotary Cutter
• Sewing Machine
• Seam ripper
• Fabric Clips
• Measuring tape (at least 60 inches)
• Clear quilting ruler or straightedge
• Hand sewing needles (assorted sizes)
• Thread (all-purpose polyester, white and black; additional colors as desired)
• Tailor's chalk or washable fabric marker

 

Your Instructor will have zipper, SF 101 and fusible fleece available for purchase.
