August 15th will be our first meeting at our new location! Yes, our big move to the Bakersfield Women’s Club. We will have our very own Sharon Casey doing a trunk show!!

Last year, we delivered 469 Loving Hands Quilts to our local hospitals for their NICU patients. Many thanks to the members who continually support this cause; you are so appreciate! As always, please bring your philanthropic items to our General Meetings. We also have kits available for all of our programs, so please consider stopping by the tables at the general meeting and pick up a kit or two.

Sweet Dreams delivered 818 Sweet Dream Pillowcases in the last year! Chair person Kim Linder does an outstanding job organizing, collecting and distributing our cute pillowcases into the community.
Thank you for your support! Pillowcases are simple and fun to make. Turn in your pillowcases at our monthly guild meetings. We always have pillowcase kits available at the guild meetings If you have any questions, please contact Kim Linder.

Paws for a Cause collects pet beds for our fur babies in KC Shelters. Sharon Godley delivered 324 Paws for a Cause pet beds to Fruitvale Animal Care last month.Thanks everyone for the donation. These simple beds made with scraps of fabric and leftover batting are perfect to put in the kennels for the pets. If you want to help, stop by Sharon's table at our General Meeting, or check the newsletter for more information.

Comfort Bears have become a member favorite, and we have delivered 726 Comfort Bears. These little cute bares are easy and fun to make. They are delivered to local hospitals to comfort kids while giving blood or other procedures. The bears put a smile on the kids and babies who receive them.
